Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of BringUp at usebringup.com (“BringUp,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using BringUp, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use BringUp.

The service

BringUp provides engineering calculators, bring-up logbooks, bill-of-materials tracking, checklists, reference notes, file storage, and related tools for people who build printed circuit boards. BringUp is currently offered free of charge as an early-stage product. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may introduce paid plans in the future; we will not charge you for anything without your clear agreement.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• Provide accurate information and keep your password secure.
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• Tell us promptly at support@usebringup.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

Your content

You own the boards, log entries, files, notes, and other content you put into BringUp. You give us permission to store, process, and display that content only as needed to run BringUp for you — for example, to save it, search it, sync it with collaborators you invite, and show it through any public link you turn on. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to upload the content you add, including any files or documents that belong to your school or employer.

Acceptable use

Please do not use BringUp to:

• break the law or infringe anyone else’s rights;
• upload malware or content that is harmful, abusive, or illegal;
• try to access another user’s account or data without permission;
• interfere with or overload BringUp, probe it for vulnerabilities without our permission, or scrape it with automated tools; or
• resell or redistribute the service without our written permission.

Engineering information is not a guarantee

Calculator results, derivations, checklists, similar-issue suggestions, web search results, AI-written summaries, and part data from third parties such as Mouser are provided to help you work faster, but they may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. They are not a substitute for manufacturer datasheets, applicable standards, testing, or the judgment of a qualified engineer. You are responsible for verifying anything you rely on and for the safety and performance of your designs and hardware.

Third-party services and links

BringUp uses and links to services we do not control, such as part distributors, websites returned by web search, and AI assistants you choose to connect. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.

Feedback

If you send us suggestions or feedback, you agree we may use them to improve BringUp without any obligation to you.

Disclaimer of warranties

BringUp is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not promise that BringUp will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost, so keep your own copies of anything important.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, hardware, or business, arising from your use of BringUp. Our total liability for any claim relating to BringUp is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for BringUp in the 12 months before the claim or US $50.

Ending your use

You can stop using BringUp and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or put BringUp or its users at risk.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will let account holders know by email or in the app. Continuing to use BringUp after an update means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
